Reliability
Our new homes meet or exceed the Ontario Building Code and Tarion requirements are strictly adhered to.
Accountability
In addition to the 12 distinct City Building Official and Engineer inspections, Sundial Homes conducts three of its own quality control inspections, an Orientation Walk-Through (Pre-Delivery Inspection) with homeowners, a 30 Day Inspection and a Year-End Inspection.
What does our quality control team inspect?
Framing: is it plumb, level and square? We ensure it was built according to approved drawings.
Windows: Are they damage free, do they work and were they installed properly to promote years of maintenance-free operation?
Doors: Are all doors and sliding doors present and in working order? Interior finishings: Are all wall, ceiling and floor finishings installed properly and look as expected? Cabinets, counters, fixtures, mirrors: Are they free of defect and look as expected?
Exterior finishings: Does the exterior of the house look as expected and provide curb appeal? Electrical and Communication: Does wiring and communication lines reflect your drawings and upgrade locations? (Note: electrical locations may vary due to construction requirements)
Upgrades and extras: Are all upgrades complete according to written selections and drawings? Mechanical systems: Do they meet all selections and requirements?
30 Day Inspection & Year-End Inspection
Sundial Homes performs 30 Day and Year-End Inspections in order to assess and address any issues or concerns raised by the homeowner during the applicable period. These inspections are further proof of Sundial's commitment to building quality homes and our belief that our
customers deserve the best.
